Depression fashion redux
I've noticed more and more businessmen wearing hats when I'm downtown. Not as many as in this picture, but I'm counting at least 4 or 5 guys in old-timey hats a day.

I think it's similar to the re-emergence of the resume cover letter. Something extra to make a person memorable and looking like he's dressing for success.
They say JFK killed the hat for men, but I guess Matt Drudge brought it back.
