Back into hiding after this....
When I wrote this on my 30th birthday, I had no idea that my own commonwealth would be so critical in this election. I am so proud of Virginians today.
(Of course, pay no attention to the comments, where I naively imagine how wonderful an Obama/McCain contest would be.)

I thought when I saw him at the 2004 convention that we would be hearing from him again and that great things would come from him. He is electric and so charismatic! I am most happy right now, as is you-know-who. Her dad, however, is not. :-)
I've been alternately giggling and choking up all day.
