Reading is fundamental
Now that I have some semblance of a life back, I've gone back and tallied your votes for which book I should read next. It was very close with many books getting one vote, but by my count, Catch-22 won the popular vote. I think after that, I'll finally get around to The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. I just finished reading Nick Hornby's A Long Way Down, which was weird but good.

Yeah, but if you don't, what are you going to tell your loyal readers? Because on the one hand, you don't want to offend them. But on the other hand, you want to be able to express yourself freely.
Sounds like one of those situations... I forget what they call it.

I read that Nick Hornsby book too. I like him. It's funny, I read "High Fidelity" much after seeing the movie (seems most people who read the book first like the book better). I enjoyed both, but I really love the movie. I think maybe some of the diehard fans of the book weren't crazy about the movie being set in Chicago, but I lived in Chi for a while, so I loved all the references.
And, the record store guys were PERFECTLY cast. :)
