Potter on the brain
As seen at Mimilou's:
... except that I don't really like taking charge. I do it only when I feel like I have to.
| What Harry Potter Character are You? Harry Potter You are an outgoing, fun person. You like taking charge and you're a leader. You would do anything to help someone in need and you don't understand why everyone is so infatuated with you. |

I was Hermione in that quiz...and I'm ashamed to admit that I am *just now* reading Harry Potter. My mom got the set of books for my 7 year old daughter and she is OBSESSED. I think I may have read the first one years and years ago, but I don't even remember.
As usual, I'm about 10 years behind any major trend. I should be getting my first pair of Crocs sometime in 2016.
I got Harry Potter on that quiz, too. But it seemed like such a silly answer that I closed the browser window without grabbing the code. Me, a leader? Ha!
I'm Ron weasley, the loyal friend.
I don't think Harry likes taking charge, either. That's not such a good description by the quiz writer.
I'm Loony Lovegood, by the way.
You're a lot cuter than Harry Potter.
nsah, your wife must be quite a babe!!!!
I'm Hermione, by the way. Um, duh.
I came up as Hermione as well. :
Luna Lovegood.
Which is crazy:
"You're idea of reality is a little confused. You believe in some wacky things but you understand peoples feelings. You can be a lot of help when it really comes down to it."
OK. The first sentence may not be so crazy.
And, yes, the "you're" instead of "your" was right off the quiz.
-sigh-
I'm Hermione. Like Quinn said, um, duh!
I'm Hermione too, and yes, that would be expected.
Like most of you, I’ve read the “Hallow’s” as well. Our interests seem to be similarly intense, even if they have taken a somewhat different path - see how I’ve been spening MY time: SCARPnotes
Many years ago I was asked so often about my opinion of JKRs books for my patients - I decided that I had better read at least one so that I could actually HAVE an opinion. The rest, as they say, is history. I struggled with writing my latest review - from a pediatric literature perspective - Pediatric House Calls: "Hallows" . On this, our seventh adventure, the “read” was an interesting, if not difficult and exausting journey.
Thanks for your efforts.
Some good comments. To be a bit uplifted, another site comes to mind: SCARPnotes The chapter synopses are extensive and there are "Parent's Guide" annotations in the margins.
