What's really awful is the AMT was created because the original millionaires weren't paying their fair share of taxes. The top 1% of all families.
Now it affects millions and millions of middle class taxpayers. I got smacked with it too. As a result, I did not get a hybrid refund. I was looking at $3000. I got zilch.
I f*ing hate AMT.
Amen on that one!!!!!
