I freakin' love this weather

Today on the drive home, the external thermometer on my car measured 98 degrees. Wish I could've spent more time outside. I think I like this crazy ass heat so much because it's one of the few things that slows my typically frenetic mind. In normal conditions, I tend to think too much and my mind wanders all over the place. In really oppressive heat, however, all I can do is just sense the heat and survive. It's great.

I think this blog post makes you officially crazy.

Yes- I have to agree with Jo(e), that you are officially crazy! Don't you have that body-as-an-oven thing going on? I lived in the TUCSON when I was pregnant and it was horrendous! My daughter was born in October and it was STILL hot, then- I went to the hospital wearing a beach cover-up.

I think we ought to start calling you Angry Pregnant Iguana, although I've never seen an angry iguana, and I'm not totally sure iguanas get pregnant. Maybe Angry Pregnant Ectotherm.

You aren't crazy - I love the heat too. My son was born in early September a few years ago and I loved being pregnant over the summer.

Now that we are in the upper midwest, we don't get the crazy heat we used to get back in VA. A few days here or there, but nothing consistent. Luckily, we are heading home late next week so I can get my "it's not the heat, it's the humidity" fix!

I won't even turn on the a/c until it gets above 90. (This drives my husband crazy.)

I really should live in the tropics instead of Wisconsin. (insert "global warming is fine by me" joke here...)

I LOVE HOT weather too :) the hotter the better! I live where hot days are not very numerous, so I am relishing these hot days that we have now. I look for every opportunity to go outside of my air conditioned office and into the hot air :) and I have seen an angry iguana - they get jealous of anynoe who gets close to their master. an ex boyfriend of mine kept his in his bedroom....very angry iguana, not at all pretty- hissing and whipping me with its tail!!!!!

#65 on my 100 things about me list:

I like it to be between 65 and 78 degrees. Any cooler or hotter and I am cranky!

Alas, here is where we diverge because if it gets above 70 degrees, I cry. A lot.

So not with you on this one. The heat makes me mean as a striped ass spider.

With all the complaints I hear about the heat lately (including my own), it is refreshing to actually know that someone is enjoying it.

I am such a hot weather person myself (sans the humidity). We hit 118 the other day, which was a little too hot for me...still, I'm not complaining! Our 95 degree nights combined with a good swim in the community pool are perfect for me.
