So apparently I've always been this way
Just got off the phone with my mom. Our main topic of conversation? You guessed it: the boy. As we gushed about him and how awesome he is, she mentioned that I was that cute, but I wasn't "grandchild" cute. So I asked her what I did that was cute. She cracked up and told me the story of when I was three and was walking around in the yard saying "shit shit shit shit shit shit shit..."

That is a beautiful story. No, seriously.
One of my husband's first recorded sentences when he was a wee tyke was, "Shit! No friends out!"
Funny story!
I can totally see you as a cursing three-year-old.
Cursing 3 year olds are my favorite kind!
So cute! I love that your mom remembers these stories. Grandchild cute... hmmm... now we now.
Hi, Regina, and welcome to my blog.
Yes, Liz, seeing as you know me in real life, I thought it'd be easiest for you to picture it. (Although I try to be good and not curse around MM or AB.)
Better to talk about it in the yard than do it there, right? Once, when I was 4, I "hunkered down" in the yard to pick flowers for my mom and I accidentally "let go". I had to walk in the house (with a lot of relatives present) with a large wad in my underpants. I was so embarrassed! Don't tell you-know-who!
APL! That is so cute!
